Grail: A C++ Library for Automata and Expressions
نویسندگان
چکیده
Grail is a package for symbolic manipulation of nite-state automata and regular expressions. It provides most standard operations on automata and expressions, including minimization, subset construction, conversion between automata and regular expressions , and language enumeration and testing. Grail's objects are parameterizable; users can provide their own classes to deene the input alphabet of automata and expressions. Grail's operations are accessible either as individualprograms or directly through a C++ class library.

Foma: a Finite-State Compiler and Library
Foma is a compiler, programming language, and C library for constructing finite-state automata and transducers for various uses. It has specific support for many natural language processing applications such as producing morphological and phonological analyzers. Foma is largely compatible with the Xerox/PARC finite-state toolkit. It also embraces Unicode fully and supports various different for...
متن کاملA Type System for Weighted Automata and Rational Expressions
We present a type system for automata and rational expressions, expressive enough to encompass weighted automata and transducers in a single coherent formalism. The system allows to express useful properties about the applicability of operations including binary heterogeneous functions over automata. We apply the type system to the design of the Vaucanson 2 platform, a library dedicated to the ...
متن کاملA Novel Design of a Multi-layer 2:4 Decoder using Quantum- Dot Cellular Automata
The quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is considered as an alternative tocomplementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology based on physicalphenomena like Coulomb interaction to overcome the physical limitations of thistechnology. The decoder is one of the important components in digital circuits, whichcan be used in more comprehensive circuits such as full adde...
متن کاملTaxing Sugar-Sweetened Beverages: Not a “Holy Grail” but a Cup at Least Half; Comment on “Food Taxes: A New Holy Grail?”
In this commentary, we argue for the implementation of a sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) tax as a tool to help address the global obesity and diabetes epidemics. Consumption of SSBs has increased exponentially over the last several decades, a trend that has been an important contributor to the obesity and diabetes epidemics. Prior evidence demonstrates that a SSB tax will likely decrease SSB con...
